Our Story

A legacy of giving, carried forward.

VAM Foundation was created in the memory of Velidhoo Adam Maalimee — the grandfather whose initials the VAM Group of Companies carries to this day. He was a great captain, and he loved to help people, always.

When he passed away, his family wanted to continue helping people in his memory. Through the Foundation, the Group has supported many people in need across the Maldives — from cancer cases and medical operations to the renovation of masjids in island communities.
